Martha Jane Tull

Age 72
Martha Jane Tull passed away on September 16, 2021, at Palestine Regional Hospital.
Martha, lovingly known as Memaw to her grandchildren, was born in Austin, Tx, on June 2, 1949, the third child of James and Doris McCallay. She graduated from Anahuac High School with the class of 1968. She married, Brian Bouley in 1969, and shared many years of marriage together until being separated by his death. She later married Kenneth Tull in 1999, and shared twenty-two years of marriage with him. Martha was special. From the time she was young, she was a peacemaker. She loved the Lord Jesus, having become a Christian at an early age. Martha loved her family and her church family at the Groesbeck Church of Christ. She also loved roosters, traveling, and their homestead in the country, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #157 in Buffalo. Martha was known as the “hospitality queen”.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Tull of Jewett; three children, Patrick Bouley, Michael Bouley & wife April, and Deeana Bouley; two step-daughters, Elaine Serrano, and Angie Varney & husband Chris; three sisters, Carolyn Lotz, Kathy Medford & husband Jimmy, and Jimmie Bell Wait & husband Ed; one brother, Tim McAllay & wife Donna; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Tull was preceded in death by her parents, James & Doris McCallay; and her first husband, Brian Bouley.
