Gabriel Cardenas was born September 28, 1983 in Palestine, Texas to Gilbert & Lupe (Gutierrez) Cardenas. He worked his way up the ladder for several oil and gas companies as a very successful businessman in the oil industry until finally becoming a pipeline inspector for the Apex Company. He especially enjoyed the traveling opportunities that being in the oil and gas business provided.
Gabe was the type of man who never met a stranger. He was constantly making new friends and acquaintances. He loved to bar-b-que and never went anywhere without his speakers so that he could listen to music anytime he wanted. He was very much a social person and cherished time spent with friends, always making people laugh.
Gabe’s family was most certainly the most important thing in his life and he loved each person in his family immensely. He will always be remembered for his generous spirit and larger than life personality.
