Kathy Zimmerman, 73, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home May 11, 2021. She was welcomed into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her loving family. Private graveside services were held at Long Hollow Hills Cemetery.
Kathleen Louise Zimmerman was born January 2, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio to Estel & Helen (Stringham) Penrod. She was married to the love of her life, Larry Zimmerman for fifty-four memorable years and worked as a beautician most of her life. She held a fondness for horses and just about any other animal she was able to care for. Kathy’s most notable trait was her deep love for her Lord, Jesus Christ. She continually endeavored to make sure her children and grandchildren were raised knowing the Lord and his saving grace. She will be greatly missed.
Kathy is survived by a very large family including husband, Larry Zimmerman; daughters, Melissa Hardee, Sandra Talley, Angela Wiley, Erin Botkin and Syndi Zimmerman; son, Kristhopher Zimmerman; brothers, Larry Jo Penrod and Jeffery Penrod and sisters, Colleen Staley, Carol Rigg and Ruthie Rivera. Kathleen also leaves an enduring legacy to eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas was in charge of final arrangements.
