Kelric “Lance” Polk, Sr.


Kelric “Lance” Polk, Sr. was born February 9, 1971 in Houston, Texas to Leon Morris and Dorothy Mae Polk. He was a graduate of Centerville High School and worked as a landscaper in San Antonio at the time of his passing. Lance passed away April 6, 2021 in San Antonio. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Lance was preceded in death by both of his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory sons, Kelric Lance Polk, Jr., Kenneth Lance Polk and Tremaine Polk; brothers, Charles Wayne Smith and Darold LeVar Smith (Harmony); sister, Denessa Polk and grandchildren, Karter Lance Polk, Kenneth Lance Polk, Jr. and Milkayla Jade Polk, as well as nieces & nephews, Cashae Danielle Smith, Blaze Smith, Lilly Smith & Kiki Smith.
Homegoing services were held 11 A.M., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Wilson Chapel Church of God in Christ in rural Leon County, Texas. Bishop Sid Johnson presented the eulogy and Pastor Johnnie Evans, Jr. officiated the service. Burial followed in Spiller Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
