Memorial services for Danny Coulter will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at noon at the Coulter family residence, 624 Oakwood St., Jewett, TX 75846. Rob Garza will officiate.
Danny Coulter passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at his residence in Jewett.
He was born in Beaumont, TX on August 25, 1947, grew up in deep east Texas, and lived in Jewett for over thirty years. He married Tammy on June 8, 1991, and shared over twenty-nine years of marriage together. Danny worked as a lineman almost all of his working life. He was a contractor for Navasota Valley Electric COOP for the past thirty-three years. Mr. Coulter loved traveling and watching his girls play softball and rodeo as they grew up, but most recently his favorite pastime was watching his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gambling, and Danny’s favorite quote was, “Take two Tylenol and call me in the morning”.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Coulter of Jewett; five daughters, Sammy Jo Barber & husband Ryan, Hali Ansley & husband J. T., Sharon Kay Broxton & husband Justin, Danyal Stains & husband Joseph, and Ramona Davis & husband James; two sons, James Schupp & wife Paula and Kenneth Coulter & wife Stacy; numerous grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Evans and Susan Bennefield; two brothers, Johnny Coulter & wife Tena and James Baxley & wife Teresa; other relatives and friends.
Mr. Coulter was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys McDaniel; his father, Robert Christian Coulter; two brothers, Bobby Coulter and Charles Coulter; one sister, Gladys Coulter; and three grandsons, Christopher, Nick, and Dustin.
