Beverly Baker


Services for Beverly Baker, 78 of Palestine, were held at 10 A.M. Saturday, January 2, 2021 in the Bailey & Foster Chapel in Palestine with Rev. Jerry Horine officiating.  Burial followed in Winn Cemetery in Marquez.  Arrangements were entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
A visitation was held one hour prior to the service.
Ms. Baker was born May 8, 1942 in Marquez, Texas to Oscar and Freddie Noey.  She passed away December 29, 2020 in Tyler, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed Baker; sister Margie Simons; brothers Howard and Ed Noey; and granddaughter Ami Baker.
She is survived by her son Eddie Baker and wife Sandy; grandson Ryan Baker; sister Fredaleen Madden; brothers John Noey and wife Sue, Vivian Noey and wife Linda, and Leo Noey.  She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Beverly attended services at Friendship Baptist Church.  She loved her family, animals and being outdoors.  She loved to fish and was always game for a meal with fresh catfish.  She would never pass up an opportunity to sit and have a cup of coffee.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Ryan Baker, Jim Noey, Scott Noey, Stuart Noey, Paul Adams, Joe Joe Harris, Troy Charlton and Rodrick Arthur. Honorary pallbearers are Terry Noey, Steve Noey, John Wayne Noey, Shane Noey, Tucker Noey, Justin Noey, Chris Noey, Mikey Noey and Ted Madden.
