George Mueller, age 86, passed away December 4, 2020 in College Station, Texas. A memorial service in his honor will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Cowboy Church of Leon County in Centerville, Texas. Pastor of the church, Tuffy Loftin, will officiate the service.
George Ludwig Mueller was born March 24, 1934 in Queens, New York; the only child to George Ludwig and Anna (Wietzke) Mueller. He had earned his Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and worked for Exxon Mobile as a Petro/Chemical Engineer. George was employed with other companies, as well, but eventually returned to Exxon where he retired.
George was what one would describe as an active learner. Very rarely did you find him without a book, as he was always reading and studying. He was an active member of the Cowboy Church of Leon County and taught small group Bible studies on a regular basis. George and his wife had lived in Centerville for the past thirteen years, coming from LaPorte, Texas.
George is survived by his beloved wife, Claudia Mueller of Centerville; sons, Dr. Dwight (Lori) Mueller of Buford, SC, Col. Mark (Cathy) Mueller of Yorktown, VA and Chris (Kelly) Mueller of LaPorte; grandchildren, Melissa Hodges, Kathrin Mueller, Gabby Mueller, Sarah Mueller, Tim Lott, Katie Raney, Andrew Mueller and Emily McDaniel and great grandchildren, Lincoln, Brody, Callahan and Mera Raney, Lennon McDaniel and Nash Proud, as well as numerous extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
