Roy Lee Jarvis, 43, of Jewett Texas, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 10, 2020. The Jarvis family will be holding a memorial service in his honor at a date to be announced.
Roy Lee will be remembered in the community for his honorable, inspirational, and uplifting attitude and work ethic. Despite being in a wheelchair for most of his life, Roy Lee was a skilled mechanic, carpenter, and contractor. He was, and will always be, a reminder to us that despite our limitations, against all odds, miracles do happen and we will treasure his strength, resilience, nobility, and character all the days of our lives. His smile, his laugh, his crooked cap, and his devoted moral character to his family and friends will serve as reminders to us all of a great man we all knew and will forever love.
We will move forward in knowing that’s Roy Lee is standing in Heaven with his father today, and that death, overall, is the ultimate healing.
Roy Lee was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as his beloved father, Roy Jarvis Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Gloria Jarvis of Jewett; a brother, Randall Jarvis of Jewett; two sisters, Natalie Jarvis and Rhonda Burns; his precious sons, Hunter, and mother Jamie, of Jewett, and Kolbie Jarvis of Iowa; Ms. Zoe Hancock, and many other cherished family, friends, and loved ones.
Rest In Peace, Roy Lee. We shall see you on the other side where our souls are free.
