Sallie Bell Reddoch was born March 6, 1946 in Amarillo, Texas to Walter Allen & Alice Elizabeth (Wylie) Reddoch.
Sallie had lived the past fifteen years in the Centerville Healthcare Center where she enjoyed watching television, working on puzzles and singing. Sallie enjoyed all kinds of music, especially gospel, rock and roll and any Christmas music. She loved singing with the Calvary Baptist Church Choir, and her favorite gospel song was “The Old Rugged Cross.” Additionally, Sallie liked to wear hats, loved her dolls, loved any kind of animal and was a very strong-willed person. Sallie’s favorite time was when her sister, Annie and niece, Alicia would come to visit her in the nursing home. She loved all of her family and would talk about them all of the time.
Sallie passed away October 1, 2020 following complications from a stroke. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and a brother. Surviving family members include sister, Gloria Joan (Reddoch) Moore; brother, James Reddoch; sister, Annie Reddoch; sister-in-law, Raylene Peterson; nieces, Alicia Webb and Karen Reynolds; nephews, Edwin and Kevin Moore and second cousin, Tish Lucas.
A memorial service was held 2 P.M., Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Church in Centerville. Bro. Dean Easterling, pastor of the church, officiated the service.
