Mrs. Mollie B. Craig was born on July 8, 1938, in Centerville, Texas to parents, Frank & Jossie (Hopkins) Green. She was baptized at an early age and later united with Cairo Baptist Church where she remained a member until her death. Mrs. Craig married R.T. Craig on December 1, 1956, and six children were born to this union. She lived most of her life in Leon County.
Mrs. Craig passed away October 26, 2019, in Centerville, Texas following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Craig is preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, R.T. Craig; son, Terry Craig and grandson, Marvin Craig, II.
Those left to cherish her memories are children, Donald (Margaret) Craig of Centerville, Algia (Misty) Craig of Centerville, Marvin (Latreace) of Midway, Billy Craig of Beaumont and Darlene Craig of Centerville; special son, O.C. Samuel; siblings, Willie Rhinehart, Maric Polk and Maggie Proctor; sister-in-law, Bertha Robinson & Perlie Conley, as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Homegoing services for Mrs. Craig were held 12 Noon, Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Rev. Esteven Smith, Sr. officiated the service and Rev. Kenneth Donaldson gave the eulogy. Burial was in Randolph Cemetery near Normangee, Texas.
