Mary was born January 25, 1965 in Fairfield, Texas. She was soon diagnosed with Morquio Disease, and her family was told that she would only live to the age of twelve. This past January marked fifty-four years that Mary lived on this earth before she was called to be with Jesus Sunday, June 2, in Tyler, Texas. At the age of seventeen, Mary invited Jesus to be the Lord of her life. She loved attending church and especially loved her church family. The Lord blessed Mary with many loving family and friends who, along with her mother and father, played a great role in her Christian upbringing. Mary was a life-long resident of the Flo Community in Leon County, as well as, a life-long member of Flo Baptist Church. Her absence will leave a hole in the hearts of all who loved and knew her.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Evan “Jack” Williams. She is survived by mother, Eva Nell Williams of the Flo Community; brothers, George Williams (Barbara) of the Flo Community, Mike Williams (Diana) of Bullard and Malcolm Williams (Paula) of Tyler; sister, Glenda Moreland (Robert) of the Flo Community; ten nieces and nephews and eighteen great nieces and nephews, as well as, numerous friends and extended family.
