District 20 Track and Field photos

Khimera Chhoy Long Jumps to first place, one of four gold medals she earned in the Girls Junior Varsity division at District 20 track and field competition held in Lovelady on April 10-11. Besides Long Jump, she cleaned house in Triple Jump and both 100 Meter and 200 Meter Dashes.

 

Caitlynn Bargas glides past the competition in Girls Varsity 100 Meter Hurdles to win 1st place honors . . . again. She also won the 300 Meter Hurdles and was anchor leg on the 1600 Meter Relay, which, along with teammates Lauren Salley, Raelyn Theiss, and Serenity Oviedo placed 2nd and will compete at Area in Grapeland on Thursday, April 18.

 

Justin Massey’s 2nd place finish in 110 Hurdles at the District 20 Track meet earned him a spot in Area to be held in Grapeland on Thursday, April 18.

 

Micah Burleson claims the gold medal in the 3200 Meter Run on Wednesday, April 10 in the Boys Junior Varsity division of District 20 track and field competition.

 

Lauren Salley, Madison Johnson, and Tori Salley advanced to Area competition by virtue of their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place finishes at District 20 Track and Field tournament in Lovelady contested over Wednesday, Thursday, April 10, 11 in Lovelady

 

Anchor leg, Allee Pervis finishes strong as she and her teammates, Caroline Richmond, Raelyn Theiss, Serenity Oviedo brought home the gold in the 800 Meter Relay at District competition in Lovelady on Thursday, April 11 and will represent Leon at Area.

 

Clean exchange from Dustin Watson to Keaton Caveness in the 800 Meter Relay held on Thursday, April 11. The two along with teammates Tyson Cornett and Harris Sherrod placed 4th and will compete at Area in Grapeland on Thursday, April 18.
