She attended Our Savior Lutheran School, 1st grades through the 8th, Hamilton Jr. High and graduated from John H. Reagan in 1954 and was a member of “The Reagan Red Coats” drill team.  She married R. E. “Bob” Allison on October 1st, 1955.  They were blessed with sixty-two years of marriage and three wonderful sons.  She & Bob worked with the youth at Durkee UMC, Aldine UMC and Jewett UMC. It was at Jewett UMC, The Nomads under the umbrella of UMC was a mission program they joined and did Mission trips for five years.   They also owned and operated the ALLISON CHRISTMAS TREE FARM for over twenty years.   After they sold their farm and moved to Hilltop Lakes, she studied to become a EMT Basic and Bob was a driver.  What an honor to serve the community in this way.  They joined The Hilltop Lakes Chapel in July of 2008.  Both were members of the Mission committee at the Chapel.  She enjoyed the many friends she met, the Quilt Club, Canasta group Women’s Bible study and Bible study at friend’s houses and Wednesday Night Bible Study.  She enjoyed working in the yard, but most of all her husband, family and friends. She loved to have visits from Sarah & Emma. The girls were a big ray of Sunshine.  How blessed she felt after a visit (and sometimes a little tired. Ha!). The greatest JOY was her LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ!!!
She is survived by her sons, Robert E. Allison, Jr. & wife Darlene, Steven W. Allison & Eddie Perek, and John M. Allison & Tim Packard; two grandchildren, Christopher Allison and Nicholas G. Allison & wife Julie; two great-grandchildren, Sarah M. Allison and Emma Grace Allison; and several beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
