Robert E. “Bob” Allison

Memorial services for Mr. Robert E. “Bob” Allison will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at 1:00p.m. at the Hilltop Lakes Chapel. Bro. Tony Taylor will officiate.
Mr. Allison passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at his residence in Hilltop Lakes.
He was born and raised in Houston and worked in the Petro Chemical Industry as a piping designer for many years until his retirement. He married Carol on October 1, 1955, and shared over sixty-two years of marriage together. Bob enjoyed wood working, cars, and airplanes. He owned and operated Allison’s Christmas Tree Farm in Marquez for twenty-two years. He had lived in Hilltop Lakes since 2001 and was an active member of the Hilltop Lakes Chapel. He volunteered with youth at his church and was proud to serve on the Missions Committee. Mr. Allison enjoyed people and had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Allison of Hilltop Lakes; three sons, Robert E. Allison, Jr. & wife Darlene of Spring, Steven W. Allison & partner Edward Perek of Strongsville, Ohio, and John M. Allison & partner Tim Packard of Austin; two grandchildren, Chris Allison and Nick Allison & wife Julie; two great-grandchildren, Sarah Allison and Emma Allison; one sister, Shirley McKinney; other relatives and friends.
Mr. Allison was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd & Catherine Allison; his brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd Allison, Jr. & Shirley Allison; and his sister, Faye Allison Guillotte.

    Dearest Carol, I am so sorry to hear about Bob. My heart goes out to you and you are in my prayers. Bob was a good man and is now in the arms of our Saviour. ✝️
