Graveside services for Frances Cravey, 85, were held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at the Concord Cemetery. Bro. Billy Bob Evans officiated.
Mrs. Cravey passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018, at the Groesbeck L.T.C.
She was born in Redland on April 28, 1932, and lived in Leon County all of her life. Frances had a sweet personality and always had a smile for everyone. Mrs. Cravey enjoyed shopping and was a very good cook. She was an ordained minister and a faithful Christian and raised her children in church and shared her faith often.
Survived by one daughter, Virginia Olivier; four sons, Rodney Cravey and wife, Betty, Larry Cravey, Gary Cravey, and Bobby Cravey all of Jewett; eleven grandchildren, Windy Starkey, Cindy Neal, Merry Cravey, Samuel Cravey, Tabitha Vaughn, Matthew Cravey, Frances Cravey, Jake Cravey, Charles Cravey, John Wright, and Robert Wright, Jr.; numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, James W. Cravey; one daughter, Barbara Currie; one grandson, Frank Currie; one granddaughter, Jamie Cravey; her parents, Harvey and Lucille Neely; one brother, Dale Wayne Neely; and one sister, Amelia Pate.
