Graveside services for Misty Sublett, 38, were held on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at the Winn Cemetery near Marquez. Bro. Louis Neyland officiated.
Mrs. Sublett passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Lufkin, Texas after fighting a brave and courageous battle with cancer for almost two years.
Misty was born in Hearne, Texas, on February 3, 1979. She grew up in Marquez and graduated from Leon High School with the class of 1997. She married her husband, Chad, on June 15, 2015.
She was close to all of her family and friends and was a loving mother and wife. Misty cared for everyone, she had a heart of gold and was genuine. She was known by many for working several years at Country Corner Store in Marquez. She also attended Venetia Baptist Church. Misty enjoyed dancing and helping others.
Survived by her husband, Chad Sublett; one son, Brett Bolton; one daughter, Jordyn Bolton; her mother, Katherine Madden; one brother, Oscar Madden and wife, Theresa, all of Marquez; several aunts; one uncle, and numerous cousins and many friends.
Preceded in death by her father, Robert Dewayne Madden; maternal grandmother Louise Farnell and aunt Patricia Madden.
