Graveside services for James Joseph Dennison, 90, of Marquez, TX were held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Marquez Cemetery.
Mr. Dennison passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, at his residence.
He was born on July 18, 1926 in Newark, Ohio to Joseph Floyd and Eva Dennison. He was a graduate of Newark High School and Ohio State. James married Lillie Mae Foster on June 2, 1947. They were married for 63 years before she preceded him in death on December 27, 2010.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and was retired from the United States Air Force. James was of the Baptist faith.
He was a loving father and grandfather.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and one son, James Edward Dennison.
He is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Payne and Joe Frato; one son, David Dennison and wife, Annette; seven grandchildren: Cassandra Noey, John Dennison, Virginia Dennison, Nicolette Tucker and husband, Keith, Michael Dennison, Alice Dennison and David Dennison; seven great-grandchildren: Harley Noey, Kyle Tucker, Riley Noey, Macquire Dennison, Kolt Tucker, Kaelyn Johnson and Keston Johnson
McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin, Texas was in charge of all the arrangements.
