Roger (Chipper) Brown


Roger (Chipper) Brown, 59, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at St. Joseph Health Madison Hospital in Madisonville.
Mr. Brown was born in El Campo, TX on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 1957. He lived most of his life in Brazoria County, but had lived near Marquez for the past six years. He served his country in the U. S. Navy. Chipper married Casey on April 26, 2000, and shared over sixteen years of marriage together. Mr. Brown worked as a truck driver for Southern Butane, D&L Propane services, and was currently employed with Leon Gas Co. He loved hunting deer, ducks, and birds, as well as offshore fishing. He competed and won numerous salt water fishing tournaments. Chipper enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Casey Brown of Marquez; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margaret (Maiden) Brown; and his father-in-law, Eugene Streater.
