Funeral services for Wilton “M&M” Christopher, of Centerville, were held at 10 A.M., Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Pastor Tuffy Loftin and Bro. Lon McVeigh officiated the service. Interment with funeral honors provided by the U.S. Army was held at 2:30 P.M., Monday, November 7, 2016 in the Houston National Cemetery.
Wilton Ford Christopher was born on October 28, 1942 in Houston, Texas to Carroll & Clotell (Kimbro) Christopher. He served his country in the U.S. Army and graduated college with an Associates Degree. Wilton was fondly known by most as “M&M” because he had worked for the M&M Mars Company for thirty-three years. M&M’s ministry was helping anyone who needed it, especially the elderly members of the community. He loved sporting events of all kinds and also enjoyed hunting deer and sometimes, elk. M&M also enjoyed spending time outdoors

on his ranch where he raised cattle. He had earned a permanent table at the Centerville Texas Burger, where he ate the majority of his meals and had coffee with a local group of men. M&M had lived in Centerville since 1995, coming from Houston. He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Leon County. He passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2016, just one day after his 74th birthday, in Lufkin, Texas. M&M was preceded in death by both of his parents.
Surviving family members include daughters, Jessica Richey and husband, Michael, of The Woodlands, Myra Medlock & husband, Chad, of Friendswood and Donna Petri of Caldwell; brothers, Wayne Christopher of League City and Kenneth Christopher of Nacogdoches and four grandchildren, Sophie & Jackson Richey, Zachary Medlock and Ashlee Petri.
